Terms of Service
Last updated: October 3, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Well Sounder: Water Level ("the App") published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to them.
1. What the App is
An informational tool that estimates the depth to water in a drilled well by timing an echo, keeps a history of readings, estimates recovery from a series of readings, and produces a summary report.
2. Readings are estimates
Readings depend on the air temperature in the well, the casing and anything inside it, how the well is tapped, background noise and pumping, and may be wrong. The App measures depth to water, not the total depth of a well. Yield figures are rough homeowner estimates, not a pump test. Do not rely on the App alone for decisions about pump placement, water supply, property purchases or health. The App is not a substitute for a licensed well contractor.
3. Safety around wells
Working at a well head can expose you to electricity, contamination and injury. Turn off power to the pump before removing a cap or reaching past its wiring. Use only a rubber or dead-blow mallet, and tap lightly on PVC casing. Keep the well sealed, and disinfect anything that goes into it. Follow your local well regulations. You are responsible for your own safety and for any damage to your well or equipment.
4. Subscriptions
Well Sounder Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, sold and billed by Apple. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID's subscription settings. A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to reverse engineer, modify or redistribute it except as permitted by law.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bulpara Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from its use, including any loss of water supply, pump damage, property damage or injury.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
